Help a household during COVID-19 crisis

The COVID-19 has closed schools and workplaces nationwide. Vulnerable children are losing the school meals they depend on, and low-income families are struggling with lost wages  amidst the coronavirus crisis. Thousands of people have lost their jobs.

An estimated of 17 million of New American Children live in the United States, including US citizen children with documented immigrant parents and  US citizen children with undocumented immigrant parents.

Undocumented families  are scared to seek for necessary help , social services, or care out of fear they may be identified as public burden, illegal, and therefore be arrested.  This creates an increased risk for transmission of the virus and put many of our most vulnerable children further at risk.  More than 1, 7 millions children food are insecure in Texas. 2.6 million of households in Texas are struggling. Poor children are vastly under-counted.

With all these changes, many families are seeking out resources to keep their children academically engaged , entertained, and anxiety-free. A daunting task for any parent, JUSTERCARE and other nonprofit organizations are working to provide families with what they need so we can get through this crisis together. We’re committed to support low-income communities to ensure kids get the nutritious food and the education they need.

This is a very challenging and scary time for children and all of us. Children’s Education is badly affected.  Children’s learning got hurt. Parents need to supplies at home to keep children learning, especially in our country’s highest-need communities.

They are craving for help. They need your help.

With the lockdown in which the novel COVID-19 crisis has put us in, Some parents have been struggling to keep up with the kids education at home. They need to get the key necessary furniture and equipment to get the kids to keep learning at home: food, toys, books, basic supplies, arts and crafts materials, etc.
